A routine 24 kilometers commute via Islamabad Expressway is full of dangers. Despite walk bridges, pedestrians jump out of nowhere suddenly in front of fast moving traffic.
Most motorists have no concept of lanes and change without seeing in side and rear view mirrors. I barely saved two pedestrian women and a possible bike fall in front of me while coming to office today. No wonders Pakistan has one of the highest ratio of deaths and injuries due to unsafe and reckless driving and careless pedestrians.
