Hi was going to Bajaur by helicopter today, but had to return midway due to bad weather. Got these pix of bombed and burnt Islamabad Marriott Hotel from the sky before landing back in Islamabad. A suicide bomber rammed his explosives filled truck at the front entrance of the hotel Saturday evening which killed 53 people and injured 266 others. Some 600 kilograms of refined military type high grade TNT-RDX explosives packed with splinters, grenades, artillery rounds and mortars were used in the bombing.
